10 Observations: Silence in the Avalanche Locker Room Following OT Loss (+)

DENVER — It took two great plays from two superstars to finally beat Connor Hellebuyck this season.



But in the end, an overtime game-winning goal from Neal Pionk was the difference, dropping the Avalanche to 2-2-1 during their homestand following a 3-2 OT loss to the Jets.

Something about this loss must’ve stung more than usual because the postgame silence — aside from one or two players — spoke volumes.
