“It’ll be exciting. Carolina only played here once A season. The crowd’s always been phenomenal. So I’m excited.

“I heard only good things about this crowd, and I know it’s sold out for every game and every time you played here atmosphere was great. So I’m excited. It’ll be a good game and we need the win,” Necas said after morning skate.

Necas earned four points in three games since joining the Avalanche. His first goal against Blues goaltender Joel Hofer was a wrister over the shoulder. Devon Toews and Artturi Lehkonen assisted on the second goal of the game.
