GOTTA SEE IT: Gabriel Landeskog Scores First Goal Since 2022

The Avalanche’s captain scored a goal in the second period on Saturday, sending the Ball Arena crowd into a frenzy.

Gabriel Landeskog received a drop pass from Brock Nelson and fired it past goalie Jake Oettinger to make it 3-0 Colorado. It’s his first goal since June 20, 2022 — on his first shot attempt since making his remarkable return on Wednesday.

Landeskog was elevated to the second line following Colorado’s 2-1 OT loss in Game 3, skating with Valeri Nichushkin and Nelson.
