The third round starts tonight. But for the Avs, all eyes are on the IIH World Championships. Martin Necas and Czechia were the only undefeated team through Monday’s games.

Canada, on the other hand, suffered its first loss. They fell 2-1 to Team Finland, who was led by a strong performance in goal from Juuse Saros.

MacKinnon was interviewed 1-on-1 by a Finnish reporter after the game — someone who has probably never had an exclusive with MacKinnon before. Especially after a loss.

It went about as bad you’d think.
