Avalanche Offseason
Avs Release Development Camp, Rookie Showcase, and Preseason Schedules

The Avalanche released several schedules ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The team announced on Tuesday that they’ll host their annual development from July 1-3 at Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colo. The three-day event often showcases the most recent picks from the upcoming draft, as well as current organizational prospects and a handful of amateur camp invites. Colorado has just two drafts in this weekend’s draft.
They also previously announced their preseason schedule along with the 2025 Rookie Showcase, which includes the Vegas Golden Knights and Utah Mammoth. The Rookie Showcase will take place at the South Suburban Sports Complex in Highlands Ranch, Colo., from Sept. 12-14.
The regular season schedule will be announced on July 16.

- Sunday, Sept. 21, vs Utah (Denver, Ball Arena)
- Saturday, Sept. 27, vs Dallas (Denver, Ball Arena)

The preseason schedule is quite interested this year. The Avs will play two games vs. Utah on the same day, and both are in Colorado. They’ll have only two road games, which come at the end of the preseason schedule. And the six games are spread over 14 days. It’s a very team-friendly schedule, and one that makes a ton of sense for a franchise that often has some of the worst year-round travel in the regular season.
