Avalanche Will Be Spotlighted on National Broadcasts 17 Times in 2025-26

It’s tied for the second most in the NHL.

The NHL announced it’s national broadcasting schedule on Wednesday and the Avalanche, in their 30th season, are going to be featured quite a bit.

Colorado is slated for 17 national broadcasts in 2025-26, which is tied for the second most in the league. On opening night on Oct. 7, the Avs are the third game of an ESPN triple header, taking on the L.A. Kings at Crypto.com Arena at 8:30 p.m. MT.

They find themselves back on the national spotlight two weeks later at Utah against the Mammoth.

In total, the Avalanche have six games on ESPN, three on ABC, and eight on TNT. They’re tied with the Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings at 17, trailing only the Washington Capitals.

In addition, start times for several games were changed, as listed below.

Oct. 20 at San Jose – start time changed from 2:00 p.m. MT to 6:00 p.m. MT (previously announced)

Oct. 22 at Seattle – start time changed from 8:30 p.m. MT to 6:30 p.m. MT

Nov. 29 at Dallas – start time changed from 6:30 p.m. MT to 7:00 p.m. MT

Dec. 27 at Utah – start time changed from 7:00 p.m. MT to 7:30 p.m. MT

March 6 vs. San Jose – start time changed from 7:30 p.m. MT to 7:00 p.m. MT

March 27 vs. Los Angeles – start time changed from 7:00 p.m. MT to 8:00 p.m. MT

April 8 vs. Vegas – start time changed from 8:00 p.m. MT to 7:30 p.m. MT

April 13 at Anaheim – start time changed from 6:00 p.m. MT to 8:00 p.m. MT
