Deen’s Daily: Avs Preseason Results; Legend Bernie Parent Passes Away; Penguins Arena Issues
The Avalanche kicked off their preseason on Sunday. Another NHL legendary goalie passed away over the weekend. Also, the Penguins have issues with the development around their arena and it’s getting tense.
All that and more on this edition of Deen’s Daily — September 22.
Colorado Hockey Now
After hours of delays, the Avalanche and Utah Mammoth were able to get their preseason games started. The two teams faced each other at Magness Arena and Ball Arena just two and a half hours apart.
Both rosters had NHL regulars playing for the Avs. Cale Makar, Gabe Landeskog, Devon Toews, and Valeri Nichushkin were at Magness while Martin Necas, Ross Colton, Artturi Lehkonen, and Victor Olofsson were at Ball Arena.
