- The Avs roster was slightly trimmed ahead of today’s preseason game. Also, the Florida Panthers have suffered a massive blow to their lineup this season, and the Penguins welcomed Marc-Andre Fleury back to practice.

The Avs were back at practice on Friday and it sounds like things are coming together for the NHL lineup.

In regards to those preseason cuts, it’s not a big list and it’s nobody who was expected to fight for an NHL roster spot right now.
