The Avalanche made five more cuts from their preseason roster following Sunday’s practice.

Defenseman Ronnie Attard was placed on waivers. If he clears, he’ll be sent down to the AHL’s Colorado Eagles.

The others, defenseman Alex Gagne, goaltender Kyle Keyser, and forwards Chase Bradley and Cooper Gay, were sent down outright.

The Avs roster now sits at 35, which includes the injured Logan O’Connor, Mackenzie Blackwood, and Samuel Girard. The three of them have not participated in complete team skates since camp began.

Aside from them, the remaining roster consists of 19 forwards, nine defensemen, and four goaltenders.

The Avs practice again on Monday before taking on the Vegas Golden Knights in their final home preseason game on Tuesday.

All four players who were placed on waivers on Saturday cleared. They will join the Eagles training camp.
