Wedgewood’s incredible start to the season is being rewarded. After going 3-0-0 this past week, with wins against Buffalo, Columbus, and Boston, the Avalanche’s goalie was named the third start of the week.

Wedgewood surrendered just one goal in each of the three games, improving to 5-0-1 on the season with a .938 save percentage. In each of the five wins, Wedgewood has only given up one goal, while also surrendering four to Dallas in a 5-4 shootout loss more than a week ago.
