Deen’s Daily: Roster Juggling; Injury Updates; Stadium Series on Cowboys Turf
The Avalanche continue to juggle the edges of their roster as they await some players to return from injury. Who’s the latest call-up? Who might be scratched? Also, the 2027 Stadium Series announcement took the league by storm on Monday.
All that and more on this edition of Deen’s Daily — November 4.
Colorado Hockey Now
The Avalanche are back at home to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning and they’re likely going to dress two players that didn’t play in their last game.
One of them has played games this season, the other is likely next on the list to make his NHL debut following the Taylor Makar appearance in San Jose.

Around The NHL
Stadium Series: The Dallas Stars dropped a big newser on Monday, announcing that they’ll be hosting the 2027 Stadium Series at AT&T Stadium. Their opponent has not yet been announced, but I can’t think of a better team for them to face than the Colorado Avalanche. Although given the two straight series against the Edmonton Oilers, I can see them being the visiting team for an added Canadian fan base element.
Either way, I’d love to see Colorado be the team they play.
Philly Hockey Now: Rick Tocchet laments what the Flyers need after latest loss.
Boston Hockey Now: Speaking of injuries, the latest on Elias Lindholm is not great.
New Jersey Hockey Now: It sounds like the Devils need some help on the blueline after a string of injuries.

I also think about teams like the Capitals or Flyers or Rangers for that stadium series as those are traditional rivals for the Cowboys.
I actually don’t want the Avs to be the opponent, I want us to host another outdoor game here.
