The Colorado Avalanche (10-1-5) open a four-game homestand against the Anaheim Ducks (11-3-1). Puck drop is scheduled for 7:52 p.m. MT, as it is a nationally televised game on TNT.

  • The Avalanche are the No. 1-ranked team, with 25 points in 16 games. Anaheim, which is tied for the league lead in wins, is in second place with 23 points in 15 games.
  • The Ducks are riding a seven-game winning streak, while the Avs have won three straight.
  • Ducks 20-year-old centerman Leo Carlsson is tied for second in the league in points with Connor Bedard.
