The 10-game winning streak is alive and well. Macklin Celebrini got some serious kudos ahead of the game against the Avs. Also, trade chatter is picking up, and the Edmonton Oilers’ goalie issues are front and center in the middle of it.

Colorado Hockey Now

What a game from the Avs. The San Jose Sharks are rising in the standings and turning heads this season, but that was one of those games where Colorado reminded them how much more they have to go to be one of the league’s elite.

Pittsburgh Hockey Now: The Oilers are in desperate need of a goalie, and the Penguins might be able to help them, according to a recent report.

Philly Hockey Now: Could Philadelphia be the landing spot for the prized possession out of Vancouver? It sure sounds like they’d like to be.

Detroit Hockey Now: An embarrassing performance for Detroit on Wednesday. They hosted the struggling Nashville Predators, who were 1-5-2 on the road and had not scored more than four goals in any game this season. Nashville won 6-3 in Detroit.

San Jose Hockey Now: Nathan MacKinnon and Macklin Celebrini trained together in the offseason. Colorado’s No. 1 center gave his stamp of approval for the budding start in San Jose.

Florida Hockey Now: The Panthers blew it on Wednesday. They gave away at least one point in the standings.

Vegas Hockey Now: The Golden Knights got their captain back and it’s exactly what they needed.
