Around The NHL

Pittsburgh Hockey Now: MacKinnon was unseated by none other than Connor McDavid. The Oilers No. 1 center is in turbo mode. He had four points against the Pens, facing his former teammate Stuart Skinner.

In his last seven games, McDavid has nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points. It’s insane.

MacKinnon is no slouch either. He’s got 14 goals and 11 assists in his last 14 games.

San Jose Hockey Now: Of course, Macklin Celebrini had to remind the older guys that he’s also one of the best in the league. Celebrini had four points, and is the only player in the league with more than 50 points.

Montreal Hockey Now: The Habs need center help and could get it from the LA Kings.

Philly Hockey Now: The Flyers are getting D help, as Rasmus Ristolainen is finally healthy.

Detroit Hockey Now: Alex DeBrincat might be on the outside of the USA Olympics roster, but he’s at least making Bil Guerin consider him.

Chicago Hockey Now: Disaster for the Blackhawks. Disaster averted by the Leafs.
