Key Stories to Watch
- The Avs haven’t played L.A. since opening night at Crypto.com Arena almost three months ago. Colorado won 4-1.
- Head coach Jared Bednar said the Kings are the stingiest team in the league that doesn’t allow much in their own end. The Avs have surrendered 81 goals to date. The only other team with fewer than 100 is the Kings, who have allowed 92.
- Mackenzie Blackwood is expected to get the nod in goal for Colorado. He’ll go up against Anton Forsberg, as Darcy Kuemper continues to nurse an injury he suffered following a collision with Stars forward Mikko Rantanen on Dec. 12.
