Deen’s Daily: Another Shootout Loss; Another Big Red Wings Win; Another Panthers Injury Update

The Avalanche lost in the shootout again. The Red Wings beat the Toronto Maple Leafs for the fourth time in four tries. Also, the Panthers’ list of injuries is still growing, even after the return of Matthew Tkachuk.

All that and more on this edition of Deen’s Daily — January 22.

Colorado Hockey Now

The Avalanche had 41 shots but were only able to muster one goal in 65 minutes of play. Still, they secured another point in the standings to open an 11-point lead on the rest of the league.

Lukas Dostal was the main reason why it wasn’t 12.
