Deen’s Daily: Avs Get Trounced Again; Patrick Kane Passes Mike Modano; Not Again, Hughes

The Avs got trounced by the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday. In Detroit, Patrick Kane became the highest-scoring American in NHL history. Also, the Pens are still hot and the New Jersey Devils’ top center is injured agian.

All that and more on this edition of Deen’s Daily — January 30.

I don’t have much else to share about the Avalanche’s performance on Thursday that I didn’t include in last night’s post-game.

Aarif, does our subscription to CHN no longer get us access to other HockeyNow sites? I tried to read a PittsburghHockeyNow+ article and was denied access and asked to subscribe to Sportsnaut.

Its times like these that really makes you think the nhl follows a script, Buffalo ready to blow up to going to unbeatable, colorado going unbeatable to blowing up.. I mean how does colorado go from so smooth passing, incredible plays to, last 4 games looks like a shinny game where 10 year old kids cant recieve or take a pass to save their life… just to fishy.
