The Avs’ Olympic break has begun and they’ll enter it on a winning note. Artemi Panarin has a new home in the Western Conference. Also, a story to watch regarding top NHL prospect Gavin McKenna.

Colorado Hockey Now

In their final game before the Olympic break, the Avalanche dominated the San Jose Sharks, outshooting them 42-25 and beating them 4-2 despite giving up a multi-goal lead in the third period.

Mackenzie Blackwood made his third consecutive start.

If the details regarding the Mckenna incident are accurate. Hopefully most of these charges get dropped & or pled down to misdemeanors. The loser he knocked out seemingly deserved it.
