Looking at the NHL betting odds, Tampa Bay Lightning has a great shot at making some big moves this season. They are up against the New York Rangers in their next match and currently running as the favorites.

So who will be playing for the Lightning, and how have they done so far?

The Forwards

Alex Barré-Boulet

Alex Barré-Boulet has already created a good run in the 2021 to 2022 season. He has played in 16 games, scoring 3 goals, and creating 2 assists. He has matched and beaten his previous rookie year already.

Pierre-Edouard Bellemare

In the playoffs Bellemare has joined in with 11 games, making 2 goals. Although that number is low for 11 games, he has already doubled his overall career goals.

Anthony Cirelli

We are starting to make some traction now with Cirelli. But just like his teammates, he has played in 11 games and made just 1 goal despite 13 shots.

Ross Coltron

Coltron is looking like he might be a big hitter in the 2021 to 2022 season, having played in 11 games and scored 5 goals, while 24 were on shot. So far Coltron has the most accuracy.

Brandon Hagel

Hagel isn’t aiming for the goals, but instead is drawing in the points and assists. He has earned 4 points and 3 assists in his 11 games in the 2021 to 2022 season.

Alex Killorn

Killorn is another player who has racked up 11 games, but although he had 22 shots on starts, he didn’t manage to score any goals. That being said, he has raked in 4 assists.

Nikita Kucherov

Kucherov has played in 11 playoff games in the 2022 postseason, creating an amazing 11 assists, 4 goals, and 15 points so far! Kucherov is the one to watch!

Pat Maroon

Maroon has played 11 games in the 2021 to 2022 season, and although he has had 13 shots on target only 2 of them have reached a goal.

Riley Nash

Nash hasn’t made a splash yet, as he hasn’t played in the playoffs yet. Nash has played in the regular season, and during that time he failed to score despite 20 shots on target and 24 games played.

Ondrej Palat

Palat has played in 11 games in the 2021 to 2022 season, scoring 4 goals although 21 were on target.

Nicholas Paul

In the playoff season, Paul’s 2021 to 2022 season had 2 goals, 4 assists, and 6 points total. He had 25 shots on target.

Corey Perry

So far in the 2021 to 2022 season, Perry has scored 5 goals, from 24 on-target shots. Having played in 11 games, his 6 points are holding strong creating a great average.

Brayden Point

Point has been on point so far. Sorry, It had to be said. Point has only played in 7 games but has 2 goals, 2 assists, and 4 points to show off. But, he’s been hurt of late. His status moving forward is a question mark.

Anthony Richard

Although Richard hasn’t played this season’s playoffs yet. He is still on the roster, we will have to wait and see how he does.

Steven Stamkos

Stamkos’ season so far is going swimmingly. He has had 4 goals in 11 games with 4 assists and 8 points. 31 shots were on target, creating great chances.

The Defense

Zach Bogosian

We don’t expect goals from the defensive team, instead, we want points and assists. In his 10 games, this season Bogosian has had just 1 assist and 1 point.

Erik Cernak

Again, we don’t expect goals from the defensive team. But Cernak has scored 1 goal in his 11 games this season. He has also earned 1 point.

Cal Foote

Foote, son of Adam, has played in 11 games this season so far and has earned 2 assists and 2 points.

Victor Hedman

Hedman is our leading man so far. He has played in 11 games, scored 2 goals, claimed 8 assists, and earned 10 points. No one else has such a big score at this point in the season.

Ryan McDonagh

McDonagh has played in 11 games, scored 1 goal, claimed 3 assists, and earned 4 points. In his playoff career so far, he has earned 12 goals total and 63 points.

Jan Rutta

Rutta has played in 5 games so far and has had 1 shot on target. Other than that he hasn’t made a tally-able impact.

Mikhail Sergachev

Sergachev has played in 11 games, earned 4 assists, and scored 4 points, so far in the season.

The Goalies

Brian Elliott

We are judging the goalies on straight wins and losses, as they cannot be judged by anything else. So far Elliot has not played this postseason, so we cannot judge him at all.

Andrei Vasilevskiy

Vasilevskiy has played in 11 games, with a fantastic 8 wins to boast about. So far the Tampa Bay Lightning has only lost 3 games.

Summary

With a great ratio of 8:3 on their hands, of course, the odds are currently in their favor. Don’t be disheartened by the low numbers, as this season isn’t over yet. Each player still has a chance to prove themselves. Just give them time, and watch them play.
