CHN Exclusive: Avalanche will meet with free agent Artemi Panarin

SEATTLE – At 12:01 a.m. eastern time Sunday morning, NHL teams were allowed to call the agents for potential unrestricted free agent NHL players to gauge their interest in possibly signing with them on July 1, or beyond. In other words, it is the week where teams can wine and dine players they’re interested in signing.

The Avalanche wasted no time in setting up a meeting with one big fish expected to be on the market when it officially opens July 1:
