Leftover Avalanche thoughts from the NHL Draft

SEATTLE – It’s 11:28 p.m. local time Saturday night, and, apparently, Saturday night’s all right for sitting around Gate 24 at Sea-Tac Airport, waiting out another delay on the redeye flight home. I won’t mention the airline this time, though it might rhyme with “Fromdeer.”

Flight time was supposed to be 12:59 a.m. Now slated for 1:45 a.m. Hey, I was obviously gonna stay up all night anyway, so going to bed at 7 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. – my original estimated time my head would hit the pillow back in Thornton – isn’t the end of the world.
