Avalanche lineup for today’s game in Minnesota

Published

on

Above is your lineup card for today’s Avalanche exhibition game No. 3 of the preseason. Avs come in at 0-2. As you can see, it’s mostly a prospect-heavy lineup against the Wild’s veterans. That’s the standard for most preseason games. The road team sends the B team and the home team, more often than not, plays the A team.

This is a big game for guys like Vladislav Kamenev and Valerl Nichushkin, guys who are on the bubble when it comes to having any chance at a regular forward spot. It’ll be nice to see Shane (not Shawn, as spelled above) Bowers too. Also, it’s one N in Conor Timmins’ name, guys.

Pavel Francouz will start in goal for the Avs and is expected to play the whole game.

The game is not going to be broadcast on Altitude. Just the radio. It’ll be nice to hear the dulcet tones of Conor McGahey.

These two teams meet again Sunday night at the Pepsi Center.
