Inside the Avs’ Locker Room: Frankie Going Hollywood

Published

A strange night at the Pepsi Center. Taylor Hall being scratched right before the game threw everything out of whack, at least for reporters like me who like a good story.

As noted earlier tonight, I just didn’t see any evidence that the Avalanche were in on any acquisition of the former Hart Trophy winner. I just am not hearing or seeing it, but that doesn’t mean something still can’t happen.

The game itself was a weird one though, too. The Avs were flat-out out-played by the Devils for much of the game, I thought, but Pavel Francouz stole the two points for the Avs and, as a result, they are back on top of the Western Conference again, at least for one day.
