Avs player grades from OT loss against Ducks

Published

on

Haven’t done player grades in a while, so let’s dust off my pedagogic skills and assess Avs players from the Ducks game tonight.

Gabe Landeskog (B) – I thought the captain and proud new papa was pretty active tonight, though tangible results on the score sheet were left for wanting. He was grinding tonight, though, especially in the final two periods and he helped set a double screen on Ryan Miller on the Avs’ go-ahead goal in the third.

Tyson Jost (C+) – Didn’t notice him a lot out there until late, despite being elevated on the line chart, centering Landeskog and Valeri Nichushkin, at the start of the game anyway. He was stopped on a semi-breakaway in the third, and another one after that on a short-handed bid. He keeps playing pretty well defensively, though, which matters too.
