Got $3.5 million laying around? If so, you could make an offer for the penthouse Nathan MacKinnon lives in. The Avs star is putting the pad up for sale for that dollar amount.

Take a virtual tour of MacKinnon’s sweet digs here.

According to the Denver Business Journal, which first reported this story:

“The two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom condo at the top of The Coloradan overlooks Union Station and also offers panoramic views featuring Pikes Peak and Longs Peak, listing agent Tamara Cooper told Denver Business Journal. Its asking price is $3.5 million.

Now hiring!

The 19-story luxury condo building at 1750 Wewatta St. was completed in early 2019 and is home to 334 residences, which all sold by February 2020, according to previous DBJ reporting. The Coloradan’s total sales volume totaled $242 million over 30 months, according to developer East West Partners.”

“The unit features a study, a gallery hall for showcasing art, a living space with a den anchored by a dual-sided fireplace and a NanaWall folding glass system that opens the dining area up to a 187-square-foot balcony, which Cooper called “an extension of the living space.”

I don’t know what a NanaWall is, but I want one.

Wait.. He’s selling his Denver home. Where’s he going? 😉

Jennifer

How come no one is concerned our super star put his house on the market…? Is he going somewhere…?

Thank you! Though interesting, I’m kinda scared!!!

Dater – regarding your thoughts on celebrity for the Avalanche…. why not Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell and the Hudson kids!!! Kate and Oliver Hudson are hilarious, I think one of them played hockey (Wyatt)…!

Or our badass line up is good enough for me!

He’s got a girlfriend and he’s probably giving up the bachelor pad for a new home! He’s not going anywhere anytime soon!

I don’t know man, being that close to Ball Arena.. Seems like he should hang on to it.

The housing market is crazy in Denver right now so I’m sure he’s making some decent money from selling it. Plus the practice rink is pretty far away (not sure if that factored into the decision but maybe).

KNHL

I assume he’s keeping his Washington Park place for now. Selling in this market makes sense if he doesn’t “need” it. Maybe he’s selling to buy a ring? 💍 (jk!)

Not too bad for a crash pad. This got me thinking of a cool idea for an off season series for you AD, what kinds of things are these guys invested in and the stories behind them. We all know about EJ and the horses, Mikko owns part of a hot tub/sauna business in Finland. It would be cool to about more of these investments and what got them involved in it.

HaHa….funny thought came to my mind with those Union Station pics….Back when Mac was learning how to not s**t in a diaper, I was boozing it up down in Flat Pennies !

Jim Strohmeier

I realize he is a public figure, but isn’t this sort of doxxing him? lol

Cam

If you think it has “malicious intent” then sure. I don’t think that’s the intent here. I think it’s more likely that it’ll help sell the place for more money.
