Nazem Kadri

On the twelfth game of the win streak, my true love gave to me… a Kaaa-dri-winner in a pear tree…

Jack Johnson: B – Johnson and Johnson reunited! This line will sacrifice their body every time when it comes to blocking shots. He had an assist in his return bringing his total to six. Night in and night out he does a great job with his role.

Bo Byram: B – It makes me nervous seeing him involved in post-whistle scrums but sometimes you have to. He had four hits tonight and played much more physically compared to previous games.
Erik Johnson: B – Quietly had himself a really good game. He was a plus-three and played goalie a few times blocking three shots.

Devon Toews: B – Just seemed a little off early on in the game but picked his game up and scored another important game-tying goal. Should we just start calling him Mr. Clutch? Over 25 minutes played and three shots on net.

Cale Makar: B – Early in the game, the passes weren’t connecting like they normally do. Another casual night with an assist and over 23 minutes played. No big deal, right?

Nicolas Aube-Kubel: A – Two goals, Two shots on net and five hits. He was everywhere tonight. Great game from someone not named MacKinnon, Rantanen or Landeskog. This type of depth is going to be critical come playoffs.

Tyson Jost: C – He did get on the score sheet with the breakout pass to Kadri on the game-winner, but besides that, he was pretty quiet offensively and defensively

Alex Newhook: B – He had a major role on Kubel’s first goal of the game by driving to the net and taking two guys with him. He finished the night a plus two.

Logan O’Connor: B – Great effort tonight. Loved seeing him stand up for teammates and being involved physically with three hits. Add a beautiful backhanded pass on the first goal of the game, this was a great game for the third line.

Nathan MacKinnon: B – Every time I watch a game, it amazes me he doesn’t walk away with a hat trick and a million assists. He can get shots off that nobody else can as well as cross-ice passes. He’s had 18 shots in the last two games.

J.T. Compher: C – Nothing like the Toronto game but he played almost 20 minutes and had a couple of chances.

Darren Helm: C – He wasn’t out there much tonight only playing 3:35. He a shot and had a couple of hits, trying to make the most of it.

Sam Girard: B – He had a solid game. He was on the ice for the Kraken’s third goal but there wasn’t much anyone could do there.

Kurtis MacDermid: C – Another 3:26 TOI for the big man. When the team needs him, he’ll step in.

Nazem Kadri: A – He was second on the team with shots, finishing with six. Add a goal, an assist, and another big performance night. He’s playing hard, smart hockey right now and no one can seem to stop him. He’s up to 46 points so far this season.

Andre Burakovsky: B – Look at that! Burky found his groove tonight playing on a line with Rantanen and MacKinnon. He had the initial shot on the second goal and Aube-Kubel was able to knock it in

Mikko Rantanen: B – No points for the Moose tonight. He finished a minus two and two shots on net. After a four-point performance on Saturday, a quiet night is ok.

Pavel Francouz: B – He let a soft goal in and a couple of deflected ones. He certainly came up big late in the third period when the Kraken were ready to pounce in the crease.
