Game of silly mistakes tonight! And, a terrible call in OT.

Jack Johnson: B – Penalty for standing up for a teammate? I’ll take it.

Erik Johnson: C – The puck hit him and fell right to Tanner Jeannot’s stick and he  knocked it in. He did have three shots and a much better game after the first.

Devon Toews: B – Mr. Reliable. Mr. Clutch. Mr. Everything. Another night of 25 plus minutes and a plus one.

Cale Makar: A – He danced his way into the zone and getting a pass to Kadri on the Aube-Kubel goal and then again for his own goal.  He was skating with ease tonight, adding a couple of assists and a goal tonight. Full steam ahead for the Norris.

Mikhail Maltsev: D – Rough first shift that led to the first Nashville goal. He looked a little timid out there.

Valeri Nichushkin: C – He wasn’t wildly impactful but got a helper on Makar’s goal at least.

Nicolas Aube-Kubel: B – He couldn’t clear the puck out of his own zone which led to the second Predator goal. He redeemed himself getting the Avs on the board with his third goal in two games and an assist.

Tyson Jost: C –  He had a couple of chances in the second period but couldn’t get one in. Story of the season. Four goals on the season so far…still.

Alex Newhook: C – Took a penalty and a had a couple of shots. Slow night for 18.

Logan O’Connor: B – Again, he’s creating opportunities on the PK. Might be the only glimmer of hope on the penalty kill right now.

Ryan Murray: C – Not a strong game for anyone. His shots seemed to be hitting defenders and not making it to the net. Just a meh game.

Nathan MacKinnon: B – Beautiful one-timer on the power play. It was his 6th of the year. Quiet night for the usual team shot leader as he only had four.

J.T. Compher: D – Literally handed the puck to the Predators that led to the third goal. No real excuse there.

Sam Girard: B – He was more involved with the offense tonight by jumping up in the rush and played well in his own zone. He blocked a couple of shots and had a couple of assists.

Kurtis MacDermid: C – Two shots, three hits and minus one. Little over four minutes played tonight.

Nazem Kadri: A – The puck was not his friend early tonight as it kept bouncing on him, but he got a shot off eventually and Aube-Kubel was able to capitalize. Loosing track of how many points he has. Kidding. He has 48 now. 35 of them are assists.

Andre Burakovsky: B – Disappointing passing game but tied the game up with his 13th of the season and was a plus two. Must. Build. On. This. Game.

Mikko Rantanen: C – He took a rough double minor penalty halfway through the third that cost the Avs. Only one shot and hit. Back to back quiet games.

Darcy Kuemper: D – Some nice saves here and there, but five goals overall. It’s easy to say some of those goals weren’t his fault but sometimes big save is needed.
