That’s the absolutely bottom-line takeaway from that great Avalanche win tonight in Tampa, a 3-2 overtime thriller in Game 4, which gives the Avs a 3-1 lead heading home for Game 5 Friday night at what is sure to be a rockin’ Ball Arena.
I mean, how can you script that one much more Hollywood than that? Nazem Kadri, playing 18 days after suffering a broken thumb that required surgery, scores the OT winner, just under the crossbar against Andre Vasilevskiy – the “best goalie in the world” – to give Colorado a 3-1 series lead.
