Bo Byram Almost Kicked Out Of His Own Parade

This is sure to become one of the most viral moments of today’s Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup parade in Denver. A cop on a bicycle thought Bo Byram was just a random dude who was where he shouldn’t have been.

“I play for the team,” Byram finally tells the cop, who put a hand on Byram’s shoulder, telling him to get back behind the fence where the commoners are.

Hey, let’s not give this cop too much grief. Byram, let’s face it, still looks like a kid. And he almost is one, having barely just turned 21.

that is hilarious. Obviously, the poor cop is not an avs fan.

The cop needs to be retrained, this is Avs country.

He is my new favorite player. Put on a bit more muscle this offseason and he is in line for a big year next year so long as he can stay healthy. I thought he became smarter and smarter as the playoffs went along on avoiding the big hit, using his slender frame to play bigger than he was ala Toews and Makar and his puck-moving abilities became a bigger part of our play. If he can start scoring, watch out!

That was a great moment from a great parade. Wow. Watching Bednar get choked up was so fitting for the day! Calm and steady all thru the low points and then when the boys finally the holy grail of sports trophies, he melts down. That had to mean so much to the team, to see that side of their coach. It’s not a surprise the cop didn’t know Bo, the idiot mayor I think butchered Bednar’s name, and he was never at a single game.
