Pavel Francouz Starts Against Carolina Tonight, Avalanche Lines and D Pairs
The Avalanche got out of town just before the snow hit, but they’ll still face Hurricanes tonight. Pavel Francouz will be the goalie who faces them, too.
Pavel Francouz will start in net per Bednar.

Frankie got the win against Carolina in Denver last week, so why not stick with the hot hand, right? Anton Blidh, recalled yesterday by the Avalanche, will also be in the lineup and Bednar had some good words for him.
“Blidh is an experienced guy. Knows his identity, plays hard.
He’s a guy that fits what we’re trying to do and makes an identity for the fourth line.”#GoAvsGo pic.twitter.com/NXBKSy9a02

These are the expected lines for the Avalanche tonight:
Lehkonen-MacKinnon-Rantanen
Newhook-Rodrigues-Kaut
Cogliano-Compher-O’Connor
Hunt*-Megna-Blidh
Defense
Makar-Toews
MacDonald-Manson
Englund-EJ
* may move up in the lineup.
The Avalanche are +130 underdogs against the Hurricanes, at SuperBook Colorado. Stop by Bender’s in Westminster for an Avalanche watch party of sorts. It’s THE hockey bar in the Denver area.
