Projected Colorado Avalanche Lineup For Blues

Lehkonen avalanche

ST. LOUIS – The Colorado Avalanche will take on the St. Louis Blues today in a Sunday matinee. The game, which will be available to watch on ESPN, will be the second meeting between the two this season. The first game, on Nov. 14, ended with an Avalanche loss at home. The Avalanche will wear their reverse retros today.

Artturi Lehkonen, as we reported yesterday, is expected to return to the lineup for the first time since Dec. 3. We don’t know who the starting goalie will be for the Colorado Avalanche just yet, but our hunch here is that Pavel Francouz will get the nod. Nothing official yet though.

Although they are both close to returning, Evan Rodrigues and Darren Helm did not make the trip to the Lou.

Although there was a lack of offense last game, the team did look better as the lines were rearranged by coach Bednar. He kept most of the young, inexperienced players together. A good example is Charles Hudon and Jean-Luc Foudy, they showed some amazing chemistry in the game against the Rangers. Both Foudy and Bednar spoke to it, saying they were playing better because of it.
