Evan’s Daily: Goaltender Interference Still a Mystery, MacKinnon’s Scoring Rate

No one in the NHL knows what goaltender interference is. Still. Derek Lalonde did not agree with what the league decided on a goaltender interference challenge and expressed his feelings for all to see.

With the Colorado Avalanche, Nathan MacKinnon is scoring at a better rate this year than any player in Avalanche franchise history. Not bad.

Red Wings assistant coach Bob Boughner talked after the game and was surprised Lalonde was ejected for something like that.

Jonathan Toews came back to practice on Tuesday and talked about his future. It sure sounds like retirement is a very realistic possibility for the Blackhawks captain.
