In the Turning Point, we’ll take a look at one moment in the previous Colorado Avalanche game that changed the momentum of the game.

Down 3-0, and down two men, the game against the Dallas Stars could have turned ugly real quick. With Nathan MacKinnon and Joel Kiviranta both in the penalty box, the stacked Dallas powerplay had a chance to end it.

The Avalanche had different ideas.

Great stick-work by Cale Makar and Jack Johnson, speed on the backcheck by the forwards, and big saves by Alexandar Georgiev changed the momentum, and allowed the Avalanche to get back into the game.
