The Avs avoided a serious injury to their goalie tandem. They also extended their undefeated streak. Also, a chippy game in Detroit, and the Devils were fined for breaking a league-mandated rule.

Colorado Hockey Now

The Avs defeated the Vancouver Canucks to extend their undefeated streak to 17 games (14-0-3). Overshadowing the triumph was the loss of Scott Wedgewood, who exited the game with an upper-body injury and did not return.
