The Colorado Avalanche added to their organizational depth on Wednesday, signing forwards Vinnie Hinostroza and Adam Beckman to two-year deals.

Hinostroza, 32, split the 2025-26 season between the Minnesota Wild and Florida Panthers, recording six goals and 18 points in 65 games while averaging 10:56 of ice time per game. Listed at 5-foot-10, 183 pounds, he was traded to the Panthers before the March trade deadline and had eight points in 17 games to finish the season.

In 477 regular-season games, the Chicago native has 65 goals and 179 points with the Panthers, Wild, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres, Chicago Blackhawks, and Arizona Coyotes. He twice scored more than 10 goals in a season, with 16 being his career high from back in 2018-19.

Beckman spent last season playing for the American Hockey League’s Bridgeport Islanders. He had 51 points in 68 games, which included a team-leading 30 goals. The 25-year-old has played 23 regular-season NHL games with the Minnesota Wild between 2020-21 and 2023-24.

Earlier in the day, Colorado signed forward Jaden Schwartz and defenseman Noah Juulsen. Schwartz is expected to fill a top-nine role, likely on the second line in Valeri Nichushkin’s absence. Juulsen will serve as a depth No. 7 defenseman and will be the first blueliner to enter the lineup if or when injuries arise.
