The Colorado Avalanche start training camp

The Colorado Avalanche’s three-day development camp is approaching quickly. The team will host the camp from June 30 to July 2 at Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colo.

All three sessions will include a lengthy on-ice portion and will likely involve the players the Avalanche select in the NHL draft between Friday and Saturday. Colorado currently does not own a first-round draft pick for Friday’s selections, but will make nine selections on the second day, starting with the third round.

It’s likely we’ll see a lot of those selections take part in development camp.

On June 30 and July 1, the on-ice portion is from 8:15 am to 11 am. On the final day, it’ll run from 9 am to 11 am.
