The Avalanche are 6-2-0 since the Olympic break after seeing their five-game winning streak end against the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday.

Still, there’s a lot to be excited about. Nazem Kadri is back in Colorado, and he’ll be here for four more playoff runs. The team also added Nic Roy and shored up its blueline with Brett Kulak and Nick Blankenburg. It sure feels like the Avs are all-in on trying to win the Stanley Cup this year.
