Pittsburgh Hockey Now: The Penguins’ AHL squad was eliminated in six games in the Eastern Conference Final by the Toronto Marlies. Here’s what we learned about Pittsburgh prospects. Speaking of the AHL playoffs, the Colorado Eagles led the Western Conference Final 3-2 against the Carolina Hurricanes’ AHL squad, the Chicago Wolves. In Game 6, the Eagles scored twice in the first period and dominated play for three-quarters of the night. But they blew it. The Wolves scored three times to win in regulation, setting up a winner-take-all Game 7 tonight at Blue Arena in Loveland, Colorado.
