Speaking of the AHL playoffs, the Colorado Eagles led the Western Conference Final 3-2 against the Carolina Hurricanes’ AHL squad, the Chicago Wolves. In Game 6, the Eagles scored twice in the first period and dominated play for three-quarters of the night. But they blew it. The Wolves scored three times to win in regulation, setting up a winner-take-all Game 7 tonight at Blue Arena in Loveland, Colorado.
