The Avalanche signed another forward on Monday, locking up their latest RFA acquisition, Fabian Lysell to a one-year deal for the upcoming season.

Where will he play? That’s entirely up to him, as there will be quite a bit of competition at training camp in September. Lysell is one of five young forwards looking to make an impact and carve out a role. But a lot of it ultimately depends on how much Jared Bednar is willing to experiment with line combinations.
