The Avs lost to Edmonton, and Nathan MacKinnon was ejected. Was it the right call? Also, there were several fights around the league in games that affected playoff races.
All that and more on this edition of Deen’s Daily — March 11.
Colorado Hockey Now
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player get a five-minute major for goalie interference. Nathan MacKinnon was ejected late in the second period of Tuesday’s 4-3 loss against the Edmonton Oilers.
Head coach Jared Bednar didn’t agree with it and made that clear postgame.
When all of that was said and done, we’re still left wondering, and trying to figure out what goalie interference is.
On a more positive note, Logan O’Connor, who was incredible in the playoffs last year and hasn’t played since, might be back in the lineup soon.
At least that’s what it sounds like.
