Avs lose first in regulation, but that’s the least of their worries now
One of these two games was going to be a loss, let’s be real here. No chance the Avs were going to run the table on this road trip, especially not in back-to-back games in Tampa Bay and St. Louis. The Avs got the win in Tampa Bay, but lost to the Blues 3-1 tonight.
Avs are now 7-1-1 on the season, which we all would have taken had it been presented to us as an option record-wise after nine games, yeah?
The loss is no biggie in the grand scheme of things. No team in the history of professional winter sports has yet to go undefeated in a full season.
