Avalanche play best game of season, maybe in years, in crushing Vegas

Published

on

Right from the word go, the Colorado Avalanche were just like a pack of wild dogs sicced loose on packages of raw hamburger today in Las Vegas. The host Golden Knights were stripped to the bone when it was over, a 6-1 whipping at T-Mobile Arena that could have been twice that score. Officially, it was “Nevada Day” in the state, which accounted for the early afternoon start.

But it was really “Colorado Avalanche Day” in Sin City, as the Avs improved to 8-1-1 with their best performance of the season – maybe in years.
