Philipp Grubauer will be on the bench as the backup tonight. Cale Makar did not skate, but did do an off-ice workout in the gym. He will not skate until Sunday, as the team has a mandatory day off tomorrow.

Erik Johnson skated some with the group in a non-contact sweater before heading off.
