Now it’s a full-blown crisis; Avalanche need to find way to stop giving away games

Wow, everybody is really mad about this one. Avalanche fans are angry. Very, very angry.

I hear ya. This is, officially, getting ridiculous. Avalanche lose – AGAIN – after leading in the third period. At home. Against a division opponent.

And it was the same damn script again too: A lead, lots of good play by everyone to get that lead. But a couple of missed opportunities to put the game rightfully to bed in the late second-early third period. The opponent realizes “hey, we’ve been dominated so far, but we’re just one shot away from tying this thing.”
