Cale Makar’s franchise record-setting goal was a thing of beauty

I’m still a bit speechless after watching this goal, even on replay a few times.

This goal here by Cale Makar was something to behold, and it set an Avalanche franchise record to boot. Makar’s goal was his 11th, besting the franchise mark that was held by John-Michael Liles and Pierre Lacroix (no, not the former Avs GM).

That’s the kind of game-breaking talent this kid has. It gave the Avs a 3-2 lead and swung momentum in the game, to that point at least. Check it out:

Amazing confidence and poise, especially at his age. We are seeing something special.
