Avalanche-Sabres Game Review: Avs clip Buffalo wings

This is a parity-driven league. Almost every game is a grind, almost always one that goes down to the wire. Such was your Avalanche-Buffalo Sabres tilt tonight at the Pepsi Center.

I thought it was a fast, fairly entertaining game, probably a little too entertaining for Jared Bednar’s taste. But the Avs won it, 3-2.

Speaking of entertaining and Bednar, how about that jacket he sported tonight?

No, Bedsy didn’t lose a bet. That’s a camouflage-style jacket, which makes sense because it was Military Appreciation Night (as always veterans, including those who serve now – and first responders – your membership is free here if you want to join up).
