Mikko Rantanen (B+): His goal started with Rantanen winning the faceoff and getting the puck back to Girard to set the play up at the blue line. He worked his way to the slot and waited for the perfect pass from Newhook. Rantenan got an interference penalty in the third period that the Rangers didn’t capitalize on, but one that obviously set the Avalanche back some.
