Avalanche MacKinnon

The Colorado Avalanche got Nathan MacKinnon back in the lineup, but it wasn’t enough, as they dropped their third straight game. The Golden Knights lost another player to injury, while Alexander Ovechkin notched (another) hat trick. The Sharks gave it their all and still couldn’t find a victory, and the Bruins got a spark from a smaller defenseman.

Nathan MacKinnon returned to the lineup. That might be all the good to come out of their loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Slow starts continue to kill the Avalanche, as they gave up two goals in the first ten minutes of the game on Saturday.

Vegas: Much like the Avalanche, Vegas has been hit hard by injuries, and might have lost another important player in their win on Saturday.

Washington: Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Alexander Ovechkin scored a hat trick. In other news, the Sun came up today.

San Jose: The Sharks have hit the point in the season where you’re looking for anything positive to take out of the games.

Boston: Connor Clifton may only be 5’11”, but he’s already up to three fights on the year, and energized his Bruins with his fight on Saturday.

Pittsburgh: Are you sick of watching the Penguins in outdoor games? Blame Sidney Crosby.

Florida: Is it time for the Panthers to get an outdoor game of their own at Marlins Park?

New York Islanders: Bad news for the rest of the NHL: Ilya Sorokin is heating up.

Detroit: It was the youngsters leading the Detroit Red Wings to yet another comeback victory.

Los Angeles: Despite the loss, Alexander Edler hit a milestone in the NHL with his 1,000th game.
