Avalanche lines Coyotes

The Colorado Avalanche and Arizona Coyotes will meet again, just 42 hours after facing off at Ball Arena.

This time, the Avalanche will have to travel to Mullet Arena to take on the Coyotes.

A few days after getting both Cale Makar and Erik Johnson back in the lineup, they may get another boost. Evan Rodrigues practiced in full with the team on Saturday afternoon, and the team is hoping he will be good to go on Sunday afternoon. If he does play, that will mean changes to the lines.

On Friday, Jared Bednar said he wanted to get Darren Helm back between Logan O’Connor and Andrew Cogliano. Look for that to happen, and if it does, Eller will center whoever is left.

With the Avalanche playing in Anaheim on Monday night, Jonas Johansson will get at least one start on this road trip, but Bednar would not tip his hand as to which game he will play.

With the Coyotes, the top line is still the big thing to worry about. Clayton Keller scored against the Avalanche on Friday, and continues to be red-hot.

This will be the final meeting between the two teams this season.
