Deen’s Daily: Emotional Marchand Return; Avs OT Loss; Classic Nordiques Jersey

The Avs lost in OT again, but they’re still sitting atop the standings. Brad Marchand returned to Boston with the Panthers in an emotional night for the former captain. Also, the Quebec Nordiques sweaters are finally here

All that and more on this edition of Deen’s Daily — October 22.

Colorado Hockey Now

The Avalanche couldn’t secure a second point against the Utah Mammoth on Tuesday. But given the way the second half of that game had played out, it’s a good thing they even got one.

Colorado lost in OT, but still sits tied for first place in the NHL with the Vegas Golden Knights.

Now for the fun part… The Quebec Nordiques jerseys are here, they’re beautiful, and the Avs will wear them tomorrow.

They’re also going full vintage on Thursday at Ball Arena, as the visiting Carolina Hurricanes will don the Hartford Whalers colors. Before the game, Brent Burns will be honored for recently playing in his 1,500th regular season game.
